Sitting atop the central reception, the Orchid Restaurant delivers local delights in both its menu and its view. Take a seat inside the burnished, wooden interior or on the wide balcony outside, as Mai Chau’s long-developed flavours match the appeal of stretching rice fields backed by a forested hill and a dramatic range of mountains. The restaurant offers set menu as well as à la carte options, covering dishes caught and grown at our doorstep. Stir-fried beef and clay pot chicken are specialties of the region, as is fish from the local rivers and delicious ethnic meals such as tom yum soup. Our garden outside provides the organic herbs and spices for everything in our restaurant.

Most is served with fresh vegetables and herbs grown in our own gardens, ensuring you a healthy and delightful dining experience.
The two-storey Mai Chau Restaurant is perched on the highest point of our Ecolodge, offering panoramic view from every angle. The ground floor of this enormous stilt house is reserved for reception hall and lobby bar. The second floor is the dining centre which can accommodate up to 120 guests. The bar is also on this floor, bringing you the finest cocktails, wines and other drinks with cosy Thai tribal interiors, cool mountain breeze and magnificent view over lush rice fields and towering limestone peaks.
