Mai Chau Ecolodge is built and designed in accordance with required standards of a genuine ecolodge. From conception to completion, we always focus on 4 basic factors including Close to Nature, Environmental Protection, Cultural Preservation, and Sustainable Tourism.
We do our best to highlight responsible tourism in our business development orientation from the smallest details in our Ecolodge. The key architecture of the Ecolodge that we direct is in harmony with the surrounding fresh environment and landscapes. Our rooms and bungalows are constructed from natural materials such wood, bamboo combined with the local architecture, especially we use local workers who understand the local culture and architectural features to build directly this Ecolodge. The interior and exterior details and decorations are coordinated with simple rustic domestic furniture and items to symbolize for the local culture.
In action to honor World Responsible Tourism Day 4/11/2015, we hold an Eco-day by buying plants and placing them in and outside our Ecolodge. As an accommodation located in green valley of Mai Chau, This activity is not only to build a green campus, providing satisfaction for guests who staying at Ecolodge but to keep soil and minimize storm water runoff which also contributed Greening the Village and keep pretty valley.
