After two days of competition in Mai Chau (October 25th - 26th, 2014), the internal mini football cup - Mai Chau Ecolodge Cup 2014 (Eco Cup) was successfully held.
In recent years, the mini football cup taken place on the artificial soccer field has become a widely developed social movement with a lot of various large and small scaled tournaments in all provinces of the country. These activities have contributed to a healthy sport movement among young people in Vietnam.
The demand for participating into the football movements comes from all compositions of our society from students to workers and staffs. All of them are also fond of founding football teams for practice and competition as a way to improve their health and get good mental health to work effectively.
In addition, a key mission of Mai Chau Ecolodge is to become a mountainous Ecolodge, a type of tourism based on the nature and local culture associated with environmental education and to contribute to the preservation and sustainable development with the positive participation of local communities.
In this circumstance, the internal mini football cup – Eco Cup has been held for the first time since 2014 with 06 football teams from departments of Mai Chau Ecolodge including: room caring, guards, administrative department, engineering department, restaurant, tree caring, etc. This activity has become a breakthrough in Mai Chau Ecolodge’s internal movement. It developed in accordance with Mai Chau Ecolodge’s mission and core value; that is “Ecotourism”.
Concurrently, Mai Chau Ecolodge always hopes that this brings a timely encouragement to our employees after working time.
This is the first time, the internal mini football cup of Mai Chau Ecolodge has held even though our infrastructure conditions have not been adequate, on the spirit of a friendly match and exchange of experiences among the football players under the guidance of 2 leaders: Mr. Du Quang Huy (General Manager of Mai Chau Ecolodge) and Mr. Nguyen Quang Huy (Sales & Marketing Director), both teams have had a honest competition and the Cup successfully finished.
With the efforts of the two leaders, the internal mini football cup - Eco Cup 2015 will be successfully held in the future and thanks to that, we can affirm that this is a really meaningful public activity that creates benefits for the local community parallel with the principle of sustainable tourism.
