(An overview of the Ecolodge)
The Ecolodge has an area of approximately 2ha reasonably planned with 43 first-class rooms; 21 independent bungalows with 5 levels of rooms. There has been a meeting room with the area of 120m2 with modern equipment and Hoa Lan Restaurant Zone with the capacity of 90 guests.
The bar located on the second floor of Spa; coming here, tourists can get a comfortable afternoon to enjoy drinks and have a general view of the Ecolodge. Situated on the top of the hill, the swimming pool zone meets the standard with the area of 200m2. This is a place where tourists can both swim and relax and immerse in the nature.
From a further distance, Mai Chau Ecolodge looks like an ancient village of Thai people with houses on stilts, palm roof, luxuriant trees. The main house on stilts is inspired from houses of the ancient officials and the independent bungalows are compared with houses of the native people in the village.
Mai Chau Ecolodge includes 4 factors: Closeness to nature, Environmental protection, Cultural preservation, Responsible tourism. Almost materials are originated from the locality such as toilette dressed stones and dressed stones for backyard.
The ceilings are made from Loi tree (local tree), a rare type of tree only in Mai Chau and Moc Chau. Loi trees are dried and made into wattles for ceilings. The roofs are made from palm leaves under the Thai style. The bath tubs are made from jackfruit wood, which is water-resistant and exploited in the locality but is completed by professional workmen.
All trees and flowers in the lodge area are in Mai Chau. In the management of the lodge, the investor tried to select and create kinds of items close to the nature. The lighting system is used solar energy. The sewage in the lodge is treated to ensure safety standards.
