Nestled in the fresh Mai Chau valley, Mai Chau Ecolodge has just completed a new line of 14 Superior Rooms located along the hillside, opposite the tranquil Romance area and the spa. Each pair of bungalows is connected by a long wooden corridor overlooking the vast valley and rice fields below.

A space close to nature and the mountains

The Superior Rooms are designed in the style of traditional Thai stilt houses, with stone walls, thatched roofs, brocade details, and plenty of natural bamboo touches. Each room features a spacious balcony where guests can sit and admire the green valley, layered mountain ranges, or the golden sunset falling over the rice fields. Inside, the warm wooden tones and soft light blend with the natural scent of the mountains. On the ground floor, there’s a unique doorway we affectionately call the “magic door from Grimm’s fairy tales” – because just one step through it feels like entering another world: quiet, familiar, and dreamlike, as if from an old story set deep in the forest.
